ALBANY, NY (11/28/2018) (readMedia)-- Last year over 120 illegal handguns were collected in the city of Albany and Troy in the gift for guns campagn now in its 5th year.

This year all illegal handguns will be collected at the Albany Victory Church located at 118 Quail St. just off of Central Ave.

With gun violence out of control in Albany Pastor Charlie is looking for sponsers to help support the program all year. In Troy the Gifts For Gun program brought in over 70 illegal handguns.

When: Saturday December 1st. and every Saturday through the month of December. 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

Who: ENOUGH Anti Gun Violence Pastor Charlie, DA David Soares, Albany county Sheriff Craig Apple, Rensselaer County Sheriff Pat Russo. Will get as many illegal handguns off the streets this Christmas.

One Hundred Dollar Colonie Center Gift Card for every illegal handgun turned in no Questions asked.
