Girls' Day Out Volunteer

Arielle Moheimani, a Mechatronics major, traveled with two faculty members to a Girls Day Out in Cortland, NY as a representative during an interactive college and career fair featuring women in non-traditional fields of study or work.

The event was held in conjunction with National Girls and Women in Sports Day and girls in grades 4 to 7 who live in the Cortland, NY area were invited to a day of activities designed to engage and motivate young leaders.

Arielle spoke with the attendees about her experience at SUNY Delhi and what she learns in the Mechatronics program. Arielle actually attended this event when she was in the sixth grade, which helped her consider areas of study that eventually led her to SUNY Delhi!

Arielle is a Dean's List student who also runs Track for the Broncos.
