Glendale native Gabriella Friedman selected for teaching fellowship in France

WALLA WALLA, WA (06/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Gabriella Friedman of Glendale, Wis. was honored with a fellowship after her graduation from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Friedman was selected to be an English teaching assistant by the Teaching Assistants Program in France (TAPIF). During the upcoming school year, Friedman will have the opportunity to instruct elementary or secondary school students in English in some assigned region in France.

Friedman is a 2009 graduate of Nicolet High School. She received a B.A. in English and minors in French and gender studies during the Whitman commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 19.
