Governor Paterson Announces $8 Million for Clean Water Project in the Village of Sackets Harbor
ALBANY, NY (08/27/2009)(readMedia)-- New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner, Pete Grannis will present Village Mayor, Eric Constance with a ceremonial check for collection system upgrades and a new wastewater treatment facility in Sackets Harbor. The community is set to receive at least $2 million in grant funding from the federal stimulus program for the $8.2 million project, and will finance the remainder of construction costs with zero percent financing from the State's Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund and other grant dollars.
