Graduating Teacher Education Students Corded

Graduating students in the Iowa State University Educator Preparation Program have been honored to designate their rank as professional educators. The graduates were bestowed with cords of light blue, the traditional color of academic tassels worn by those in the field of education, in a ceremony on Friday, May 6, in Stephen's Auditorium in Ames.

The Iowa State University Educator Preparation Program comprises students and faculty in several colleges. The program is coordinated by the School of Education in the College of Human Sciences.
