The team is coached by Dr. Marc Hight, Elliott Associate Professor of Philosophy, and Dr. James Janowski, Associate Professor of Philosophy.
A program of the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges (VFIC), this year's event featured student teams from 15 independent colleges and universities deliberating case studies with ethical dilemmas related to Ethics and Social Media. The teams presented their analyses, positions, and recommendations to panels of judges comprised of business, professional, and educational leaders from across the state.
Wells Fargo served as the signature sponsor for the Ethics Bowl. "Wells Fargo is once again a proud supporter of the VFIC Ethics Bowl," said Pete Jones, Mid-Atlantic regional president. "As an early adapter of social media in the financial industry, we are excited to be able to witness talented college students from across Virginia discuss ethics and social media."
