Haley Hinze Recognized as Outstanding Freshman at WWU

FULTON, MO (06/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Haley Hinze of Greenville, S.C., received a Student Alumni Council Outstanding Freshman Award at William Woods University's recent co-curricular honors banquet.

The Outstanding Student Awards are the only awards at William Woods University bestowed on students by the nomination and vote of other students. Nominees must demonstrate academic achievement, campus and community involvement and leadership.

Hinze is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Campus Activities Board, WWU Dance Team, and WWU Art Club. She serves as the resource chair and continuing recruitment chair in her sorority and as a writer for The Talon school newspaper. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, and the Fulton Nursing Home.
