Hannah Carey named Missouri Baptist University's Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS, MO (09/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Missouri Baptist University recognized Hannah Carey as the Spartan Athlete of the Week after she led the women's volleyball team to victory against Division II opponent Quincy University. Carey filled up the box score totaling 15 kills, 16 digs and three aces.

Huffman is a freshman outside hitter for the Spartans from West Sussex, England. The volleyball team remains undefeated with a record of 11-0.

MBU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and has received the distinction of being an NAIA Champions of Character institution for the past 10 years. The Spartans compete in the American Midwest Conference.
