Hannah Weiss of Lansing is Inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa
CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/19/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Hannah Weiss '15 of Lansing, MI was recently inducted into the Alpha Psi Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa sheltered at Washington College.
Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, was founded December 3, 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. The founders formulated the idea that leadership of exceptional quality and versatility in college should be recognized, that representatives in all phases of college life should cooperate in worthwhile endeavors, and that outstanding students, faculty and administrators should meet on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness.
Weiss is double majoring in clinical counseling/psychology and economics and minoring in business management. She is a member of The Cater Society of Junior Fellows, the national psychology honor society, Psi Chi and Zeta Tau Alpha. A graduate of Grand Ledge High School, she serves as treasurer for the College's club tennis team and has is the recipient of the Amy Lynn Ferris Grant.
