Junior infielder Ashlee Stevens '27 (Berne, New York) has been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must compete in at least 90 percent of their institution's games played or start in at least 66 percent of contests. Nominees must also hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Stevens served as a steady presence for a young Hartwick squad throughout the 2026 campaign, appearing in all 37 games while making 32 starts. The junior nursing major provided leadership and consistency for the Blue and White on both sides of the ball.
Defensively, Stevens excelled at the hot corner, finishing second on the team with 48 assists while adding 33 putouts in her transition to third base after previously playing shortstop. At the plate, Stevens collected 12 hits, including two doubles, while driving in four runs and scoring 12 times. She also drew four walks and made an impact on the basepaths, swiping 10 bases without being caught all season.
The honor marks Stevens' first CSC Academic All-District selection and adds to an impressive list of academic accolades this year. She was inducted into the 2026 Chi Alpha Sigma chapter, receiving Hartwick's Philip S. Wilder, Jr. Award for academic distinction, and earned recognition on the Empire 8 President's List.
