Hassan Williams-Kone '21: Making connections through Rwandan immersion

The Center of Public Service offers immersion projects to students in order to help them connect to a new culture, while focusing on important social justice issues. For students like Hassan Williams-Kone '21, this experience not only allowed him to learn about Rwanda's more recent efforts to foster peace, unity, and reconciliation within the nation, but helped him recognize the importance of shared connections with others.
