Hayley Bowden of Malvern Co-Authors Eastern Psychological Association Paper

CHESTERTOWN, MD (04/15/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce Hayley Bowden '14 of Malvern, PA, recently presented a paper at the Eastern Psychological Association's conference in New York City. Bowden co-authored a paper studying the effects of different background music on working memory.

Bowden is majoring in psychology and is on the pre-nursing track. On campus, she is the manager for the varsity men's basketball team, a member of Habitat for Humanity and plays club field hockey and various intramural sports.

Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
