Help Your Friends to Better Themselves

'Bring a Friend Week' at Central Methodist University-St. Louis

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (07/29/2011)(readMedia)-- Sometimes, the simple things are the biggest favor one can do for a friend.

Central Methodist University is sponsoring a "Bring A Friend Week" at its Maryland Heights center (2457 Old Dorsett Road, Ste. 200) from Monday-Thursday, Aug. 15-18. There is no cost and no obligation to participate.

"Anyone can attend," noted Pam Mosher, enrollment manager for CMU's Adult Degree Program. "We want to keep it short, simple and informative. If they don't know someone currently attending our classes, we will find someone they can sit with."

The format is simple. Prospective students can come to the Maryland Heights site by 5:45 p.m. for introductions; free pizza will be provided. From 6-7 p.m. they will observe a CMU class in session. A short information session and question-and-answer will follow.

During the information session, prospective students can learn more about scheduling, admissions and graduation requirements, costs and payment options, financial aid, and course and program descriptions.

Anyone interested in CMU's "Bring a Friend Week" is asked to let CMU know in advance by signing up at http://adp.centralmethodist.edu/bringafriend or call 314-227-4400.

Founded in 1854, Central Methodist programs range from undergraduate and graduate studies to high-school dual credit offerings. Serving approximately 5,000 students on its historic main campus in Fayette, through collaborative programs at locations across Missouri, or online, the CMU mission emphasizes academic and professional excellence, ethical leadership, and social responsibility.
