Henry Anreder Participates in Hamilton College Program in Washington
CLINTON, NY (09/27/2010)(readMedia)-- Henry Anreder, son of Harriet and Lewis Anreder of Southampton, is participating in the Hamilton College Program in Washington this semester.
Anreder, a junior majoring in world politics, is a graduate of Southampton High School. Anreder is interning at J Street and B'Tselem.
Created in 1969, the Hamilton Program in Washington provides a combination of academic study and experience in national government. The participants in the program conduct research and attend two seminars led by a resident member of Hamilton's government department, and at the same time are working full time in congressional or executive offices. This semester's program director is former U.S. Ambassador Edward S. Walker, Jr., the Christian A. Johnson Distinguished Professorship of Global Political Theory at Hamilton.
Hamilton College is a highly selective residential college offering a rigorous liberal arts curriculum. Students are challenged to think, write and speak critically, creatively and analytically, so that upon graduation they may distinguish themselves in both their professions and their communities.
