Beaver River - Lewis County
- 10 public access sites include boat access, fishing, picnic areas, camping and whitewater boating.
- Brookfield Power maintains a 14-mile canoe route along the Beaver River.
- Soft Maple Campsite in the Town of Croghan offers visitors a place for overnight stays for a small fee.
Hudson River - Albany County
- Scenic views of beautiful Cohoes Falls are available from Brookfield Power’s newly-redesigned Overlook Park. The park is adjacent to the company’s School Street hydropower plant in the City of Cohoes.
Oak Orchard Creek - Orleans County
- Convenient access to Glenwood Lake in Medina and Lake Alice in Waterport is offered through two Brookfield Power sites.
- Paved boat launch ramps and floating docks are available.
- Anglers can enjoy an abundance of fish on the lower five miles of the creek.
Raquette River - St. Lawrence County
- 16 public access sites include boat access, fishing, picnic areas, camping and whitewater boating.
- Parmenter and McNeil campsites offer overnight camping for a small fee.
- Stone Valley Hiking Trail winds through 7.5-miles of spectacular terrain along the Raquette River. The well-marked trail is open to the public year-round.
- Red Sandstone Trail is a footpath along the west bank of the Raquette River from Hannawa Falls to Sugar Island and covers 3.5 miles.
Sacandaga River - Saratoga County
- Brookfield Power maintains the Sacandaga River Whitewater Recreation area.
- Visitors can rent tubes, rafts and kayaks through a designated vendor.
- A concession stand, toilet facilities, changing rooms and shuttle service bring adventurers back up river.
Salmon River - Oswego County
- Salmon fishing areas are plentiful on the river.
- The river flows east to west from Tug Hill through the Village of Pulaski to Lake Ontario.
- Brookfield Power provides access and parking areas at its facilities in the Salmon River corridor.
