Hoffman wins G-MAC Player of the Week honor

NASHVILLE, TN (10/23/2012)(readMedia)--  Anna Hoffman carried Trevecca Nazarene to a 1-0 win over Ursuline College over the weekend to claim the first-ever G-MAC regular season women's soccer title - and the first regular-season title in any sport.

Hoffman scored the lone goal of the match on an assist from Becky Bartos. It was the fourth goal of the year for Hoffman, coming at at 40:53 of the first half. She ranks second on the team in goals (4) and points (8).

The Trojans, went 2-0 on the week, with 1-0 wins over G-MAC opponents Urbana and Ursuline. They swept through conference play without allowing a goal, winning the three games by an overall total of 4-0.

Trevecca Nazarene University is a Christian liberal arts university located in Nashville, Tenn., Music City, USA.
