MILTON , MA (10/31/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Holden, MA resident, Kelly O'Donnell, daughter of Stephanie and Ed O'Donnell, will be playing the role of Jane in the premiere of Michael Manor's To Catch a Rose as part of The Sixth Annual New Plays Festival. O'Donnell is a 2010 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. Currently a sophomore majoring in Communication, she has been seen on the Curry Theatre Stage in Almost, Maine and Tartuffe.
O'Donnell completed a prestigious Stage Management internship at the Sharon TriArts Playhouse in Sharon, CT this past summer, after serving on the Curry Theatre supervisory board as a Stage Manager for two shows and Assistant House/Box Office Manager. She currently serves as this semester's House/Box Office Manager.
The Sixth Annual New Plays Festival, showcasing original student 5-10 minute one act plays, will run Saturday, Nov. 10th through Monday, Nov. 12th at 7:30 p.m. at Curry College, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).
Founded in 1879, Curry College is a private, four-year, liberal arts institution located on 135 acres in Milton, MA. Curry extends its educational programs to a continuing education branch campus in Plymouth, MA.
