Holden McLemore Receives Convocation Award at Hampden-Sydney College

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (09/13/2013)(readMedia)-- At Opening Convocation on Tuesday, September 10, Holden Keith McLemore, a sophomore at Hampden-Sydney College, received the Omicron Delta Kappa Award. The ODK Award was established in 1974 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Lambda Circle and has been endowed by generous contributions from ODK alumni. This scholarship is awarded annually to a member of the sophomore class who demonstrated real leadership in his freshman year.

Holden serves on the Student Court, as Treasurer of the Pre-Law Society, and as a Resident Advisor. He is a member of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Rotaract, the President's Men, and the Society of '91 leadership program. He completed the Freshman Leadership Program through the Wilson Center for Leadership in Spring 2013. Holden is a graduate of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and is the son of Keith & Lisa McLemore of Wake Forest.
