DES MOINES, IA (08/12/2017) (readMedia)-- Amateur brewers from across the state competed for top honors in the Iowa State Fair Oenology – Beer competition, judged on August 3, prior to the state of the Fair.

Best of Show honors for Mead and Cider were awarded to Andre Bajorek of Clive. Rod Wellman of Sioux City was awarded Best of Show honors for Beer.
