I-81 Corridor Study Report Now Available

Public Comment Period Runs Through July 8

ALBANY, NY (06/19/2013)(readMedia)-- New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Commissioner Joan McDonald today announced that the I-81 Corridor Study Report is available for review on the I-81 Challenge website (www.thei81challenge.org/). The public can submit written comments about the study through Monday, July 8, via email or regular mail to the following addresses:

NYSDOT will carry forward the comments received into the next phase as the study transitions from high-level conceptual plan to federal and state environmental reviews. NYSDOT will continue to provide opportunities for community involvement, which is a critically important part of the process.

The I-81 Corridor Study is the first part of a comprehensive planning process to develop improvements for the I-81 corridor in the Syracuse Area.
