New National Grid New England After-Hours Media Phone Line Only for Reporters: 781.907.3981 Starting September 4, 2012

WALTHAM, MA (08/30/2012)(readMedia)-- The National Grid after-hours media relations telephone number -- a phone line exclusively for reporters and news rooms -- will change as of September 4, 2012.

As of Sept. 4, members of the media who are trying to reach National Grid media relations in New England after 5 p.m. and before 8 a.m. on weekdays, weekends and holidays, should use the following number: (781) 907-3981. The current after-hours media relations phone number (508-389-4966) will no longer be in service after this date.

Please continue to use (781) 907-3980 to reach a New England media relations representative between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
