Indianola Baker Wins Cookie Logo Honors

DES MOINES, IA (09/12/2024) (readMedia)-- Amy Fuson of Indianola won first place in the H&R Block Logo Cookie Contest judged Wednesday, August 14, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.

Brooke Mickelson of Clive earned second place. Brenda Klyn of Pella earned third place.

Contestants were challenged to create one large cookie that featured an original design of the H&R Block logo.

Entries were judged on originality.

The Iowa State Fair Food Department is the largest of any state fair in the country. There were 140 divisions, 726 classes and over 6,400 entries at this year's Fair. Food Department judging is held in the Elwell Family Food Center.
