Inter-Office Coordinating Council Meets August 12 in Albany

ALBANY, NY (08/09/2010)(readMedia)-- The state Department of Mental Hygiene Inter-Office Coordinating Council (IOCC) will hold its quarterly meeting on Thursday, August 12. The IOCC includes the state Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

WHEN: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 12, 2010.

WHO: OASAS Commissioner Karen M. Carpenter-Palumbo; OMH Commissioner Michael F. Hogan, and OPWDD Acting Commissioner Max E. Chmura.

AGENDA: Meeting will include welcome remarks by IOCC Commissioners; Director of Community Service appointments; Committee reports by Mental Hygiene Planning Committee and Program Committee; discussion on Interagency Childrens Initiative, Enhancing Patient Access to Care: 100 Walkthroughs in 100 Days Campaign, and ENGAGE(D): The Children's Plan – Unfolding With New York's Children, Youth and Families.
