Inter-Office Coordinating Council Meets August 27 in Albany

ALBANY, NY (08/20/2009)(readMedia)-- The state Department of Mental Hygiene Inter-Office Coordinating Council (IOCC) will hold its quarterly meeting on Thursday, August 27. The IOCC includes the state Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD).

WHEN: 1:00 a.m. - 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2009.

WHERE: Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), 1450 Western Avenue, Albany, New York -4th Floor Main Conference Room

WHO: OASAS Commissioner Karen M. Carpenter-Palumbo; OMH Commissioner Michael F. Hogan, and OMRDD Commissioner Diana Jones Ritter.

AGENDA: Meeting will include welcome remarks by IOCC Commissioners; Director of Community Services appointments; and discussions on repeal of obsolete regulations in Volume A in Title 14 of the NYCRR, deemed status of OMH hospitals and process for submission, review and approval of Director of Community Services. The meeting will also include an update on local planning and top priorities from the 2009 Mental Hygiene local county plans, as well as discussions on OMRDD Autism Platform and Interagency Task Force on Autism.
