Intermittent Daytime Traffic Stoppages Scheduled on Route 40 in Centerville Borough
Stoppages needed for installation of Overhead Sign Structures
NEW STANTON, PA (11/03/2010)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises motorists that there will be random, intermittent traffic stoppages starting Mon., Nov. 8 at 7 a.m. through Fri., Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. on Route 40 in Centerville Borough in Washington County. The stoppages will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day and will last a maximum of 15 minutes.
The stoppages will occur along Route 40 at the intersection of Turnpike 43 and Route 88 from the California Interchange to Nobles Road, and Route 40 from Malden Road to a half mile east of Turnpike 43.
Traffic will be stopped while Trumbull Corp. the general contractor erects new overhead sign structures for signage along Route 40. This work is a part of Section 51J of the Mon Fayette – Uniontown to Brownsville Phase 2 project.
