Twenty-seven interns are now ready to serve their community and see patients at the Sherman College Chiropractic Center, a teaching clinic for students in their final stage of internship prior to graduation from the doctor of chiropractic program.
Interns celebrated the entrance of this final phase of their chiropractic education at a pinning ceremony on July 18th on the Sherman College campus in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The college also streamed the event live on Facebook so interns' family and friends could watch from out of town.
"As our students transition into their clinical internships at the Sherman College Chiropractic Center, they take a major step forward in their professional journey," said Sherman President Dr. Jack Bourla. "Through rigorous academic preparation and hands-on training, they are equipped to provide safe, effective, and compassionate chiropractic care to the people of Spartanburg and the surrounding communities. These interns represent the next generation of principled chiropractors-committed, capable, and ready to serve, sharing the philosophy, science, and art of chiropractic. We are proud of their accomplishments and excited to see them begin this important phase of their education and calling."
