Iowa Ladies Put the Hammer Down at Iowa State Fair Contest

DES MOINES, IA (08/27/2024) (readMedia)-- Erin Sheriff of Des Moines took first place in the Ladies Nail Driving Contest, held Saturday, August 17, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.

Carey Lynam of Creston took second place, and Carmen Knipper of Hopkinton claimed third place.

The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
