HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (08/26/2011)(readMedia)-- J. McKenzie Hazel, H-SC Class of 2011 and a native of Oakton, VA, joined the admissions staff as Assistant Dean of Admissions in July 2011.

Hazel graduated cum laude with a B.A. in history. While at H-SC, he was Vice President of the Classics Club, was Secretary of the honorary classics society, Eta Sigma Phi, and was a member of the Garnet & Grey Society (Admissions Office tour guides). Hazel will recruit in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.
