Jakszta Named to SCAC All-Tournament Team

GEORGETOWN, TX (11/08/2012)(readMedia)-- The conference office today announced the 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Soccer All?Tournament team and junior midfielder Lindsay Jakszta was named to the team.

Southwestern entered the tournament as the #3 seed after ending the regular season with a 4-3-1 conference record. SU faced off with the University of Dallas in the semifinals and played well, but ultimately fell 4-0 to the Crusaders.

Trinity had eight players earn all?Tournament recognition, followed by Dallas with four selections. Austin College had three players recognized on the all?tournament team and Southwestern University had one selection.

The Pirates closed out the 2012 season with a 6-11-2 overall record.
