James Comotto of Bel Air Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/20/2014)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce the recent induction of James Comotto '14 of Bel Air, MD, into Phi Beta Kappa. Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest and most elite honor society in the United States. The society serves to recognize the power of a liberal arts education by acknowledging students that have achieved high levels of intellectual discipline and achievement.

Comotto is majoring in biology and philosophy. On campus, he is a member of the Best Buddies organization and the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He has also participated in the Peer Mentor program, an orientation program designed to ease the freshman transition to college. In the fall, he will be attending the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine.

Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
