LONGVIEW, TX (12/03/2010)(readMedia)-- James Schreder has recently been named to the LeTourneau University Board of Trustees. Schreder is the president and owner of Danjon Engineering. With 24 years of experience in civil engineering, he has taught engineering class at Biola University. From 1993-1999, Schreder also owned an investment advisor firm. For his master's in civil engineering, he attended California State University at Long Beach. Schreder has been a licensed, professional civil engineer in California since 1987. In his community, he is involved as Chairman of the board for the Skylight Foundation, a non-profit organization for pastoral and disability housing. He has also been a committed trustee and board chairman at his home church, Evangelical Free Fullerton. Schreder is continuing the family tradition, since his father was on the LeTourneau University board during the 1990's.
LeTourneau University is an interdenominational Christian university located in Longview, Texas, offering academic majors in aeronautical science, business, education, engineering, health care, the humanities and sciences.
