Jayriel Kizer Selected for Competitive Ralph Bunche Summer Institute at Duke University

Eastern Illinois University student Jayriel Kizer has been selected for the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute, a nationally competitive program designed to introduce undergraduate students to doctoral study in political science.

Kizer, a rising senior and first-generation college student, is majoring in political science with a pre-law minor. She has earned a place on the dean's list for more than three semesters and has built a strong record of leadership, service and academic curiosity during her time at EIU.
