NEW LONDON, CT (05/16/2012)(readMedia)-- Victoria Iannarone, a freshman at Connecticut College, was awarded the CRC Press Chemistry Achievement Award, which is given for outstanding academic achievement in chemistry. Iannarone was presented with the award at the annual Honors & Awards ceremony at Connecticut College on May 1.
Iannarone, a 2011 graduate of Springside School, Philadelphia, is the daughter of Lynn Dickinson of Jenkintown.
At the ceremony, the awards were presented by President Leo I. Higdon, Jr. and Armando I. Bengochea, dean of the college. Jennifer A. Fredricks, associate professor and chair of human development faculty director, Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy, gave the keynote address.
