Jenna Febrizio from Long Beach, N.Y., a senior at SUNY Geneseo, recently presented at the Council of Liberal Arts Colleges Undergraduate Research Conference.

GENESEO, NY (10/15/2010)(readMedia)-- Jenna Febrizio from Long Beach, N.Y. (11561), was among seven SUNY Geneseo students participating in the Council of Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC) Undergraduate Research Conference Oct. 1-3 in North Adams, Mass.

Febrizio, a senior history and art history double major, presented an analysis of how accurately French revolution figure Charlotte Corday has been represented in images depicting her assassination of Jean-Paul Marat, who was partly responsible for the atrocities of the Jacobin Reign of Terror. The conference featured 72 presentations of research in the humanities, arts, social sciences and natural sciences. Her faculty mentors are Todd Goehler, lecturer in the Department of History, and Lynette Bosch, professor of art.
