Jennifer Lough Of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts Named Second-Team All-NEWLA

CHICOPEE, MA (05/06/2010)(readMedia)-- Elms College junior midfielder Jennifer Lough of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, was named Second Team All-New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance (NEWLA) as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Lough, who was named to the NEWLA weekly honor roll on April 5, finished second on the team in goals scored with 18 and was the team leader in groundball pickups with 34. Lough also won 20 draws and forced 11 turnovers during the season. Lough had five multiple-goal games and struck for three or more scores in two contests this season, including a five-goal game against Thomas College on April 3, and a three-goal effort on April 14 versus Pine Manor College. For her career, she has amassed 53 goals.
