MILLERSVILLE, PA (05/07/2013)(readMedia)-- Jeremy K. Beckley, of Columbia, Pa., has been selected to receive the Jordan Earth Science Scholarship. Beckley will graduate from Columbia Junior/Senior High School and will attend Millersville University of Pennsylvania this fall to study environmental geology.
The Jordan Earth Science Scholarship is awarded to a freshman geology major or an earth science major pursuing a geology emphasis. The student is awarded in the amount of $332.
Beckley was a National Honors Society member, a member of the high school band and a member of the theatre club throughout high school. Beckley also played ice hockey and participated in track and field all four years of high school.
