CANTON , OH (10/21/2011)(readMedia)-- The Malone University Department of Performing Arts will stage Little Women – The Musical November 9 – 12 and 16 – 19 in the performing Arts Hall of Founders Hall, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. The curtain will rise on all performances at 8 pm with the exception of the November 11th (Friday), 10 am matinee and the Saturday November 19th 2pm matinee. There will be no evening performance on November 11th. Tickets -- $10 for all performances are available beginning October 10th by calling the theatre box office at 330-471-8202.
Jeremy Clarke, a freshman communication arts major from Barberton, OH, has been cast in the role of "Laurie."
Little Women – The Musical is based on Louisa May Alcott's classic novel. Book by Allan Knee; Music by Jason Howland; Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. The heartwarming story details the struggles, joys, sorrows, adventures, and eventual coming of age of the four March sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, in Civil War era America.
