Jessica DiLucia Interns with the Museum & Gallery at BJU

Jessica DiLucia, a senior studio art major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with the Museum & Gallery at BJU in Greenville, South Carolina.

A resident of Rochester, New York, DiLucia organizes activities for the Home School Days events, which involve researching the artist taught each month and brainstorming the children's activity. She also attends Art Break events and runs the merchandise table.

"This internship opportunity has increased my understanding of what involved art education looks like for children who are homeschooled," said DiLucia. "Since I do not interact much with children in college, this was an excellent way to get me out of my comfort zone and expand my field of researching, learning, and teaching."
