Jessica Holcombe Receives Award During Honors Convocation at Wofford College

SPARTANBURG, SC (05/20/2010)(readMedia)-- Wofford College senior Jessica Holcomb received the "Heart of a Terrier" Leadership Award during Honors Convocation May 11.

Holcomb is a psychology major and during her freshman year was selected to participate in Wofford College's Bonner Scholars program. The Bonner Scholars program provides financial assistance to deserving students and encourages those students to participate in volunteer services. At Wofford, Bonner Scholars provide approximately 10 hours of volunteer service through the Twin Towers student service program. Parent(s): Sandra Holcomb (Spartanburg, S.C. 29303).

The "Heart of a Terrier" Leadership Awards recognize those students who have made a positive difference on the campus and excelled in scholarship, leadership, and campus citizenship and service.
