Joanne R. Nurss Endowed Scholarship in Life-Long Literacy
Joanne R. Nurss spent most of her career at Georgia State University educating teachers and working in programs for young children, adult literacy and English language learners. She was directly responsible for the early establishment and success of the Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education. This scholarship supports a graduate-level student who has a focus in life-long literacy.
