Join the Lung Association Tuesday, March 6 for a Practice Climb of One HSBC Center in Buffalo

ROCHESTER, NY (03/01/2012)(readMedia)-- The American Lung Association in New York and Seneca One Realty LLC are hosting a practice climb on Tuesday, March 6, for registered participants in the Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb in Buffalo that is being held on Saturday, March 10. The March 6 practice climb will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the site of this year's climb: One HSBC Center in downtown Buffalo. The building is located immediately north of First Niagara Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres.
"This is not only a unique opportunity for registered climbers to practice in the building they'll be climbing in on March 10, it's a chance for those who are interested in learning more about the event to talk with staff and other participants to see if they might be interested in taking part," said Jaime Anderson, Development Director. "Every person who climbs or supports this event by donating helps further our mission to save lives by preventing lung disease improving lung health."
The practice climb is open exclusively to climbers who are registered for the Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb on Saturday, March 10. To date, more than 250 people have committed to climbing the building's 800 steps in support of the Lung Association's fight for healthy lungs and clean air. Prospective climbers are welcome to attend the practice climb to learn more about the event and to register. Those who register to climb at this event will be eligible to participate in the practice.
Staff from the Lung Association will be on site to assist with registration, accept donations and answer questions about the event.
