Jordan Tryhubenko Inducted into Sigma Xi at Washington College

CHESTERTOWN, MD (04/25/2012)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Jordan Tryhubenko '12, daughter of Paula and Steven Tryhubenko, Cockeysville, MD, was inducted into Sigma Xi. Sigma Xi is a scientific research society founded in 1886 to honor excellence in scientific investigation and encourage a sense of companionship and cooperation among researchers in all fields of science and engineering.
Tryhubenko is majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. She is active in Beta Beta Beta biological honor society, Gamma Eta chemistry honor society, and the Douglass Cater Society of Junior Fellows honor society. She is also President of the American Chemical Society, Vice President of Health Occupations Students of America, a peer tutor, a course mentor, and a resident assistant. Tryhubenko graduated from Dulaney High School.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
