POTSDAM, NY (05/23/2012)(readMedia)-- Joseph Cantales of Utica, N.Y., the technology and Project Lead the Way teacher at Frankfort-Schuyler Central School in Frankfort, N.Y., was awarded Clarkson University's Inspirational High School Educator Award on May 11 and 12. Cantales was honored at a special dinner the night before commencement and during the commencement ceremony the following day. Presenting the award to Cantales (second from right) were graduating senior Adrienne Zacaroli (right) of Frankfort, who nominated Cantales for the award, President Tony Collins (second from left), and Vice President for University Outreach & Student Affairs Kathryn B. Johnson (left). Each year, Clarkson seniors are invited to nominate a secondary school educator whom they feel has had a significant effect on their lives and helped guide their higher education decisions and career pursuits. The award recognizes these educators for their influential and lasting impact on their students and in their field of education.
