Joshua Hafer receives Susquehanna Engineering & Manufacturing Society-Gravell Scholarship

MILLERSVILLE, PA (08/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Joshua R. Hafer of Springfield, Va., has been selected to receive the Susquehanna Engineering & Manufacturing Society-Gravell Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman at Millersville University of Pennsylvania based on academic merit and commitment in an industry and technology program.

Hafer will attend Millersville this fall and will major in industrial technology, computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) option. He pursued a traditional college preparatory curriculum including Honors, Advanced Placement and technology courses at Lake Braddock Secondary School. Hafer also participated in the bowling club, chess club, Spanish club and robotics club. His goal is to have a career in a CADD related field, such as industrial or technical design.

The Susquehanna Engineering & Manufacturing Society-Gravell Scholarship is a non-renewable award in the amount of $256 to be credited to the fall 2011 bill.
