Juan Maldonado Of Holyoke, Massachusetts Becomes Elms College's All-Time Leading Scorer

CHICOPEE, MA (11/19/2009)(readMedia)-- Elms College senior point guard Juan Maldonado of Holyoke, Massachusetts became the Blazers' all-time leading scorer after netting a game-high 18-points in Elms' 86-72 season opening victory over Plattsburgh State on Wednesday, November 18.

Maldonado was perfect from beyond the arc (3 for 3) and scored nine points in each half to lift the Blazers to a 1-0 start to the season.

Maldonado's 18-point performance gives him 1,179 points for his career, passing Kyle Seyboth who scored 1,175 points from 2001-2005.
