GEORGETOWN, TX (03/06/2014)(readMedia)-- Julius Young of Austin (ZIP 78756) received the 2014 Mary Lynn Webb Starnes Music Award from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

The award is given annually to an outstanding senior for proficiency in music performance, excellence in academic affairs and great promise in the field of music.

Young received the award at the University's Honors Convocation March 1.
