KWU Student Selected to Participate in National Science Conference

Laura Nivens has been selected to participate in a national science and engineering conference. The Sustainable Horizons Institute and the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics will present the 2017 Computational Science and Engineering conference this February in Atlanta. The conference enables in-depth technical discussions on a wide variety of major computational efforts on large-scale problems in science and engineering and promotes the training of the next generation of computational scientists. Through the Broader Engagement Program, the organization offers opportunities for college students to participate in the conference. Laura will receive full funding for travel, lodging and conference registration expenses. DETAILS
