Kaitlyn Gayvert from Fairport Participates in Undergraduate Research Conference
GENESEO, NY (01/10/2012)(readMedia)-- Kaitlyn Gayvert, a senior from Fairport, N.Y. (14450), was among eight SUNY Geneseo students participating in the Council of Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC) Undergraduate Research Conference recently in Keene New Hampshire.
Gayvert, a mathematics major, presented a project titled "Computational Efficiencies of Stochastic Algorithms." Her faculty mentors are H.T. Banks, Shuhua Hu and Alana Thompson from North Carolina State University as well as Michelle Joyner from East Tennessee State University.
