KEENE, NH (02/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Keene State College student Katelyn Abato of Auburn, MA has written a performance piece titled Haze about a dark journey through a young woman's traumatic date rape encounter.
Keene State's Theatre department has selected four student-written works in the Premiere Performance series, which offers an insightful perspective on a variety of themes and settings. Abato's Haze will be performed on February 18 and 19. Performances will be take place throughout February and March at 7:30 p.m. in the Night Owl Cafe, located in the KSC Student Center.
Keene State College, a member of the University System of New Hampshire, is New Hampshire's public liberal arts college. KSC offers 35 programs of study as well as individualized majors, service learning, and national and international exchanges. The campus, with 21st-century technology housed in traditional ivy covered brick buildings, is located in the Monadnock Region of southwestern New Hampshire.
