CHESTERTOWN, MD (04/15/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce Katharine Meates '13 of Milton, DE, recently presented two papers at the Eastern Psychological Association's 119th annual conference in New York City. Meates co-authored two papers, entitled "The Effects of Paternal Attachment on Personality Development in College Students" and "The Effects of Personality on Dietary Interests," respectively.
Meates is majoring in clinical psychology and sociology. On campus, she is involved in the Bake Club, the Psychology Club and Campus Christian Fellowship. Meates is also the treasurer for the psychology society, Psi Chi.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
